    Transfer gear loctite question

Do you guys still use loctite on the nuts when if they have the transfer gear nut locks ( the bolt on retainer used on the late models)?

    Thanks!

If they used it originally then I used it when I reinstalled them. I haven't had any problems with them though as there are bolt retainer tabs on there.

So you still use loctite with the retainers? I didn't see any loctite when I pulled it apart. It's back together without loctite but has retainers. If it's a good idea to loctite I'll remove the nuts and loctite. Thanks!

I'm trying to say that I don't recall if they used locktite on them or not. If I noticed that it had it on there originally then I would use it. Otherwise I don't. If you don't want to pull it back apart you could buy some of the green stuff that wicks in the joint after assy.
