I won the spring race this year too! I've spent many hours in the past 3 days redoing all the aftermarket gauges and wiring that were fried two weeks ago at my last race. The 25 year old stuff kept cracking every time it was moved so to keep my frustrations down it was easier to do a total rewire and replace some gauges. I thought I was done after working on it Wednesday, but then discovered the stock 30 year old fan died too. The only thing I need to do today is put one of my white gauge overlays on my speedo to match the new gauges and try and swap in a new digital EGT temp gauge....then clean up the tools and clutter.

I'm only an hour and a half away but this will be my first time out there. I still need to unload all the tools and parts out of the back of my van (including an entire jeep front differential).

In the years past we would have several test passes, so I tried a higher shift point with Matchbox which slowed it down a 1/4 second...but that was our ONLY pass so I had to stick with it. The car was a full tenth from pass to pass...uuuggg! ANYHOW, made it to the finals...ran a 16.000 on the bye run to the finals, dialed 15.93 (had ran a 15.955 on a 15.95 the quarter finals round) but went 15.917...to loose in a double break out, The 12 second blue 1st gen Neon won the all motor class. Too bad I had to beat a SRT4 in the first round.

Congrats on the runner up, It was pretty hot and miserable out there but I had fun. Ive found a couple pictures of my van pop up already. Test n tune only gave me 2 runs, both of which were bad, one at 16.3 and the other at 15.5.
