Sealing up the transmission - RTV? Something else? Lots of questions!

Anybody happen to know the part number for the seal around the selector shaft?

I don't know it off hand, but boy do they get gummed up a lot easier when it's in bad condition. Great idea to replace it.

Mine doesn't look too bad, but I'd like to take it out so I can degrease everything. I think it will get ruined in the degreasing tank, but after gently trying to remove it, I think I'll end up ruining it by taking it out. The rubber boot on mine is ok. I just need the press-in seal. I didn't see it on the transaxle rebuild sticky.

This is the seal Rock Auto shows, which has the correct lip for the rubber boot:
