    floor is always wet...

floor under the clutch pedal is always wet and the pasanger side is kinda damp too, both shadows i have are doing this where is the common area for the water to enter up there? cleaned out the cowl and didn't see anything there i think it might be the seam by the door hinges

also the sealer on the corner joint near the taillights is cracking and letting water in, whats the best paintable sealer i can use there ?

I had a similar problem. I took the dash out of mine to find it when I did my shadow over. Turns out there is a seam below the cowl in the door jam area by the hinges. The water drains out of the cowl and runs right over the seam. I put a hose on the windshield and let it run until it started comming in. Sure enough that was the trouble spot. Clean it out real good and use either seamsealer from a tube or brushable.

Here is what I used on my Scamp: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=167027_0_0_ Worked really well, and only $15. It is brushable once you apply it.

Had this problem on the omni. Seam sealed the cowl after removing all the rock hard seam sealer. Then took the fenders off to replace all the seam sealer under there. The sealer was so thin I bet it only sealed from the factory for a year or two. I use Lord Fusor (800EZ). That stuff is straight awesome!!
