    No boost after crankcase evac

Well I installed the moroso crankcase evacuation on my car. Car ran funky but built boost on my way onto work. After work on way home car wouldn't build any boost at all. Ran great other then the no boost thing. I put car back the way it was before ecav setup and still no boost.

Anyone have any ideas on what I should check?

    - I did boost leak check and past.
    - did compretion test & 115 - 118 in every cylinder.
    - plugs look good
    - wastegate & swingvalve look good
    - vacuum lines look good & no leaks
    - turbos feels good & spins
    - vacuum is at 20 when ideling
    - air/fuels look normal

    Running out of ideas.

Possibility that you bumped something while routing the line to the exhaust? Sounds like the wastegate actuator rod fell off the wastegate arm.

I pulled wastegate & it feels good. Compared it to another one I have.

I pulled the downpipe off when wastegate was off & put my hand in swingvalve housing. The "puck" felt attached & appeared to be working normally.

The only thing I can think of is that when I hooked up the evac setup it was a cork & wasn't drawing vacuum like I had lead to believe & I hurt the motor to where it won't build boost.

The car runs good as a n/a car, feels strong just no boost.

I did this setup last night & was able to run 18-22 psi but not until around 4,000rpms. Hose coming off by check valve goes to exhaust evac prob with no check valve in line. So I'm thinking around 4,000 the evac prob is pulling suction causing my rings to seal & allow boost to build. If I shift fast & keep rpms higher then 4,000 boost stays. Shift slow & let rpms drop below 4,000 no boost until I hit 4,000 again. So I don't feel the turbo is an issue.

I'm placing my bet on boost controls not functioning, it's like you only make boost when you're to the point of overwhelming the wastegate, and if it was rings letting that much combustion pressure out, you'd have blown out the dipstick and every other escape route on the engine ... (ok, I'm exaggerating a bit,but just a little) .
