There's a nice one on Craigslist in LA. $17,000 for a one-owner, 39k example. Might be worth it.

Contacted seller and he is a royal d bag. Told him i thought his price was a little high and told him that i already had one. He told me to buy a rabbit and paint it black and to get a real car. Mhe then pointed out that he has a fast Mustang that could kick my ---.

His ad also states the car has a nascar designed crank and bullit proof rods.

    I call BS!
Did you ask him if he had actually tested the rods for resistance to bullets?

Excellent. So he can also claim they've been shotpeened. That car is worth every penny.

Perhaps this is the famous black #033 GM Goodwrench sponsored GLHS that the late Dale Earnhardt drove to the Winston Cup Championship that year....

    No wait.. something isn't right...

Yes I found it. Dale's primary sponsor was still Wrangler Jeans back in '86 so his GLHS would have been blue and yellow. So this ebay GLHS does not have original paint or is possibly a complete fraud.

Probably a ebay buyer off ebay sale. Thats how i sell my ebay cars ( sorry ebay ). List it for national exposure and then make it a private sale before auction ends.

Wonder what he got for it. I know he will never tell me.

    Re: 86 glhs

Hello - still in the market for the GLHS? I have a decent prospect I'm considering selling. Feel free to contact me for details & pics etc.; up front I'll tell you that short of an R134a refrigerant conversion it is bone stock, rust-free, and generally in excellent condition throughout. Needs some minor detailing & TLC to really make it exceptional - underhood detailing, bumpers are chipped, etc; nothing major at all. Original paint. Interior is in excellent shape. ~54k miles. Never tampered with - doesn't even have a boost gauge added. Still has original ignition wires on it that I'm about to replace. I'd entertain offers >$10k on it.

Post want ad in Metro Detroit Craigslist. There's two always on the site.

#284 (98K miles, mint with complete history and dealer paperwork from Day 1, it even has the small key tags, Koni were rebuilt by Koni approx. four years ago and I doubt he's put 100 miles on the car since he bought it from me). Owner trying to sell for the last four years. It's 20 miles outside of Detroit. There's another in Howell, MI. Not as nice as #284 but a great deal at $5000. Guessing he'll let it go for $4500.

    Re: 86 glhs

My dad is selling his 86 GLHS. Great condition. Almost all original (he can tell you more about that - his email and phone are on the website). 30k miles. I made a website to help him showcase the car:

    http://www.steelsunshine.com/Shelby/Shelby.html

It's also on Philadelphia craigslist (I live in Philly; car and my dad are near Pittsburgh)
