    Rich on cold start

Like the title says I think my 90 Shadow is running rich on cold starts. It will crank and fire but then die within seconds. Place reeka like gas. If I give it throttle I can keep it running. Once it gets to operating temp, runs fine. I checked vacuum lines, they look fine. Checked resistance on coolant temp sensor at ambient temp (like 75 here) and got 15 ohms. I think I did it right, had it set to 200k (first time using a multimeter). This seems kinda low. I thought somewhere I read it should be like 1000. Anyone know for sure? Haynes doesnt specify anything and every thing I've found online have to do with testing for issues at operating temps. Any other things I should check?

Replaced the coolant temp sensor and it fired right up
