That is going to be one fun yet comfy car! I miss my old new yorkers.
Which exhaust manifold was that?
Was that a south of the border stratus?

The exhaust manifold we were told is and early agp manifold but now quite sure. The stratus parts came from u-pull so it might have been since we are in the rust belt.
So we ran into our first issue. My brother got the car running today, but it won't charge. Is there anyway to get an 06 stratus alternator to work with a smec?
Man that car is going to be awesome! The ultimate sleeper.
My brother got the charging issues figured out with the 06 stratus alternator. I got a voltage regulator for a 60's dodge because it has a positive output that the stratus alternator needs. Here it is installed:

My brother started mounting the intercooler tonight as well. Here it is with the bumper removed.

Looks great guys! Is it going to drive under it's own power to SDAC? If you need slicks for Tuesday, LMK. Mine are just sitting on tire rack collecting dust.
Todd
It should be able to drive around at sdac but I don't think it will be tuned good enough to race it on Tuesday but ill be brining both sets of slicks that we have just in case.
Jason
My brother Jason finished up the intercooler piping today. The couplers finally came.

I'm assuming you're towing it to SDAC?

Finally got the New Yorker to the track a few weekends ago and this was my fastest time. 13.23 at 105.

Not bad! Does it have bugs to work out? What do you expect it to do with your set-up?

Nice. How much boost are you running?
Justin's car is really cool. I really like the launch control he has in it. Its a two-step. I was at the track the day he ran the car. Watching at the starting line allowed my to hear the comments of the onlookers. No one could believe how fast the car was. It was topped of when the New Yorker left on a late model Mustang and held it off the rest of the way. The crowd cheered like in the Relentless video.
Cool! I use to like to watch the Relentless videos. I loved the crowds reactions.
