That connector looks like it is for the starter solenoid circuit. It should plug in right near the battery.

There are only two wires on my starter harness. The black one pictured is what I am trying to figure out, I guess I need to look around more for the correct plug. So does the loose end on the black wire connect to one of the battery terminals?
I have two different speed sensors that have two different types of plugs on them. I have no idea which harness connects to the speed sensor.

The black wire is a ground that ties in with a splice IIRC. The other wire on the plug is brown with a yellow tracer if I'm not mistaken. That is the power feed for the hazard flashers.
I just looked at the picture and realize how confusing it looks. The wire that looks brown in the picture is actually black. It comes from the starter has that plug I am holding directly in the middle, and then has a loose end. The starter harness only has two wires. Red and black

If you check out this page you should hopefully be able to track it down easily.

There are two wires connected to the starter. A large red one, and a smaller brown one. If you're working from the starter back up the harness, the brown wire should end at a black-bodied male two-terminal connector just like the one you pictured. BUT the female connector it plugs into will still have a same-size brown wire coming out the other end, which will go to one of the 8-terminal connectors near the trans mount area.
The black wire coming out of the male connector you are holding in the pic should be connected to the positive (not ground!) battery terminal. The female counterpart to that connector will also have one black wire coming out, and it is the feed to the hazard/flashers circuit.
Verified with alldata.

Thinking about selling this little project. I don't have anywhere to store it and I've lost my motivation.
