    Mini-van fuel pump access panels

I got tired of dropping the tank to get to my fuel pump and fuel level sender so I made access panels.

I used threaded nutserts to secure the panels to the floor. I didn't want sharp self tapping screws pointed at the gas tank incase of an accident.

Yes. I measured and cut from the bottom because there are supports and welds I wanted to avoid so I did it from the bottom.

Nice idea. They should all have access panels. I will probably do the same if I ever have to remove the tank again. I have been getting pretty good at dropping the tank in my driveway though.

I'm good at dropping the tank too (I have a lift) but it doesn't mean I want to. I'm going to be upgrading to a Bosch 044 pump and now I don't mind doing it.
