1.980" is what my NOS .63 housing measures on housing where exducer sits. Anything over 2" will be cut for stage II or bigger.

Looks similar. My stage 2 had less of this lip. Have a measurement?

Correct. Stage 2 has a very small lip compared to the stage 1 in your photo.

The newer Turbonetics housing doesn't have the reducing lip like in Chris's pic ^^^. At least not all of them. Here is pics of new F1-49 w/ turbonetics housing and F1-49 wheel in NOS .63 Garrett housing (note reducing lip). I don't recommend doing like in second pic, but wanted to see if newer f1-49 wheel fit into older Garrett S1 housing. Also note the bigger gap in second pic vs. first pic. This will effect spool.
