Correct hose line hookup

I have a Shelby Lancer with an automatic. It came standard with an external trans cooler. I don't remember how to hookup the lines to the trans cooler. Does the top rubber hose off the trans ( by the dipstick ) go into the top or bottom inlet of the trans cooler ?

Doesnt really matter, fluid flows in...fluid flows out...

It does make a difference if you are still using the stock cooler inline with the external. You want it to go through the stock one first.

The stock cooler on a Lancer is an external cooler.
