Car lost power to most circuits!

Left work, car started fine & ran fine, started down the road, got about an 1/8th mile & lost electrical power to everything except heater motor & headlights. I have power to the starter & the motor has ground. No dash guages, no clicking when I turn key to run or start, no fuel pump running. Stuck 30 miles from home where all my schematics are. Any ideas?

87 GLHS, well, the good news is I finally got it running, but I see I need to fix some wiring. When they relocated the battery to the back, they put a small 10 amp fuse in line down under all the wiring harness and cold air intake. Had to do a little tracing from the power block to find it. I will be moving it to a location of easier access. Just sucked, because the wind chill is 29°. Fingers are so numb from the cold wind.
