Not sure if I'll need it yet or not, but probably need to get a spare anyway. Anybody have a working BCM for a '91 Daytona? I think Lebaron also works.

You need to list what options are on your car. There are different BCM. I can keep an eye out in the yards for you. And it does matter if you have power locks and things like that.

No power windows or locks. It's for Project LookOwt, Rick Lozier's old nitrous car that I bought from Reaper1. It's an ES but but no power options, no sunroof, no traveler computer, analog dash with tach, auto trans.
I have one, but no clue on what options it's setup for...
Can you get the part # off it?

only one shown
above from the 1991 part book ( module section )
So the only difference is with and without time delay?
To reiterate what marty said above, there is only one BCM for 1991 Dodge Daytona's, that is part number 5266116.
Here is one on Rockauto if you are in dire need of one:
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/rafr...&parttype=2888
What's the concealed head lamp thing then? A separate module?
OK one more time the numbers I listed above are ALL the modules for the 91 Daytona
5266116 is the BCM just called Chrysler: this is for 1991 Lebaron & Daytona ONLY. No other supersession is involved
1987-89 J,G bodies it was under the top cover located forward of the dashpad and at the base of the windshield.
we all know that, I know for 1990 its just above and behind the fuse box. where are the relays for the 91? is it in the bcm or in a relay bank? ive kinda curious.

But not in '91, because as stated the headlight module went away and the BCM took over control of the headlights. The BCM, as you say, has it's own part number separate from the headlight module/timer numbers listed along with it. Just wondering why they listed separate numbers if the BCM controls it all?
The headlight door relays are in the PDC under the hood on the '91. The BCM triggers them. In '90 they had a smaller square version of the headlight light module, and I believe it was located somewhere around the steering column. I have an extra one of those.
Just an interesting note to add, using a 1990 premium BCM in a 1991 car will still work. The headlights will still pop open and operate.
When I converted my 1991 Daytona to a digital dash setup, I installed a 1990 premium BCM and digital dash. The headlights still operate normally. I even confirmed that the BCM was indeed a 1990 one with my DRB II. I have no idea why the headlights still pop up but I haven't questioned it.
Because it still works the same way. The BCM triggers the relays the same as it does the headlight module. The '90 (and the earlier ones also) used the headlight module in lieu of separate relays in a PDC, like the '91. Difference on the 89-earlier being that there was no BCM so the module got it's signals directly from the headlight switch.
I just realized that today lol. Also found a BCM I had stashed and forgot about, believe it was out of a '90. So I'm gonna try it before buying anything else.
No longer need this, I found one in my stash I had forgotten about. Also found out that the car didn't have one it it at all, which is why the headlights wouldn't pop up Put mine in and it all works properly. Even have the annoying door chime now
Well looks like I may need this again lol. Dash lights don't work now
Rob
I have a 91 Daytona ES n/a that was totaled 6 months back. It still has this part. I will pull this evening and get you a part number. Everything on this car worked before the accident. The car had analog dash, power door locks, but no power windows.
