Description: I hate to do it, but I'm selling my 89' LeBaron GTC TII. It is 1 of 1,033 built in 1989 and a lot of work has gone into this car and I had a lot of plans for it. Sadly my health is preventing me from working on it and I've decided to let it go rather than just watch it sit. It's low mileage and it reads as 76,000 right now and the car runs and drives perfectly fine. There would be so much information to post about it here that it would be a book. If you're interested please call or e-mail me and I'd be happy to go into as much detail as you'd like.

Also, you can get a good idea of what's gone into this car by looking at my CarDomain site for it. Keep in mind that the interior is no longer brown.

can you post a few pictures of the interior? I went to the cars domain page and all I saw was 1 picture with old gray lether and another with brown/gray fabric seats. Also, I tried navigating the cars domain posts but I am not really sure what the story is with your car. Are you looking for cash or would you be interested in a trade? I am thinking about selling my Audi and getting back into TDs

Right now, there is no interior in it besides what is needed for it to be legally driven on the road. That was the next part of the project I was going to work on. The idea was to swap from the ugly brown to gray. That being said, I have at least 95% of the gray interior that will come with the car. Which includes new molded carpet and floor mats as well as some extras. I'm looking for cash. My health is not good, and is getting worse as that is why I'm selling it.

Now, the story is that there's a lot of work done to the car. The car is rust free thanks to some body work and a full paint job. It has Konis/Eibachs. It's has a full 3" exhaust. All the underbody metal has been powder coated. CS racer panhard bar, poly bushings all around, all new steering, new stainless brake lines, new front hub assemblies, TU six puck clutch and new flywheel, new motor mounts. I know there's stuff I'm forgetting. The car runs great and the only problem is a leaky valve cover gasket but it comes with a couple of new gaskets. It will also come with some extra parts like a set of cast control arms and 91 brakes/spindles and some OEM moldings that you can't get anymore. There are also some extra interior parts that I've ended up with.

I've still got her up for sale. I'm only asking $4,500. I'm seriously taking about a $7,000 hit on the work done to it. If anyone is interested or know someone that is, please get a hold of me and I'll give you my number so we can talk. Just got out of the hospital and this will have to go to paying the bills. You're really going to be getting a lot for the money in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity, do you know what city/state it is gonna end up in? I really liked your build on that car and considered buying it for my son's first car. He's only 12 but I have been perusing the FS adds for the right J body or P body

Actually, I met a guy at SDAC that I've know for years from here, he has a white/gray leather coupe with overhead traveler and reasonable miles...
