Project Shadowfax: show us the meaning of haste!

Hello all! My name is Ted. I'm new to the turbo Mopar community. You may have seen a few of my posts. This is where I will be documenting my work on my recent purchase, a 1990 Dodge Shadow, built by Chuck, forum name Swart.
A little about me. I'm a behavior specialist for a county office of education in northern California. I mainly design plans to deal with behavior problems, but I also assist with teaching strategies. All the kids I work with have severe developmental delays. As you can see, I don't have a technical, electrical or mechanical background.
I've always loved cars though. Since my first car, I have been trying to learn and get as much experience as possible. My parents were never supportive of this, and I've never really owned performance cars. I do a lot of my own repairs, and have a pretty solid understanding of how a car works.
I bought this car to bring myself to the next level. I am going to make mistakes. I am going to break things. I am going to be asking a lot of questions as I prepare for projects. I can't wait.
I got a great car, with a solid setup in place, ready for me to begin tinkering around. I won't have to worry about things breaking due to old age, or excessive miles...
All that said, this first post will be used to maintain a record of my current specifications. I have a stack of all build receipts, which I will be going through soon, and updating the specifics of the car.
    For now:

    1990 Dodge Shadow 4 door
Power mirrors, locks and driver seat
    Battery relocated to trunk.
    2.5L turbo
Crankshaft lightened and knife edged (from 36 to 30 lbs)
Ross Forged pistons 9.5:1 compression ratio
    Shot Peened rods
    rotating assembly balanced
    Melling high volume oil pump
    Ported head with larger valves
    ARP Head Bolts/Rod Bolts/Main Studs
    Stock cam
    FWD Performance adjustable cam sprocket
    two piece intake
    TU Fuel Rail
    255 lb/hr fuel pump
    Stock injectors
    MSD blaster coil
    Magencor Wires
    TD05H small 16g turbo
    Mopar Performance tune (7psi)
3 bar MAP sensor (89 Firebird Trans Am)
    Innovate Motorsports O2 Sensor
3" exhaust with SLP Performance 31066 Shotgun race resonator
A523 trans with OBX limited slip
    ARP Flywheel/Pressur Plate bolts
TU Ceramic Street n Strip ceramic clutch (6-puck)
    FWD Performance Polybushing side/trans/front/alternator mount
    Eibach springs

Like I said I will get more specifics as I go through the receipts...

Question one, to upload images from the laptop do I have to upload them to a website?
    Any recommendations?

    The pistons during engine build:

The cylinder head prior to valve installation

Look at that crank! Slim and trim!
And the custom header, my favorite piece

Sub'd. That header is a nice piece. Looks like everything was done correctly. So that gives a good platform and a nice start.

Great looking parts! More info on the pistons would be nice! Brand, compression ratio, etc!

Will update brand of the pistons when I look through the receipts. Compression is 9.5:1. Chuck said he wanted to avoid turbo lag completely.
Right now using stock injectors, cam and mopar performance tune. Hits 7 psi without thinking twice.

I like the idea of working with a higher than stock compression ratio!

Vigo has long been interested in the use of 16g size turbos on 2.2/2.5's

Well I will definitely be exploring and reporting back on how the higher compression and 16g turbo work together.

Is that a factory sunroof? That would be a really rare option. I love that car.

Should be a fun project. Interesting choice of compression ratio.

I would edit and add back some of that info you found into the first post.

    Done

Was looking over the car and condition today. Looks like it will eventually need a refresh on the paint. Not too bad, but cracking in a spot on the hood, normal scratches, and a few spots on the hood and roof where it looks like it was sprayed with a bit of primer? No dents I saw, but will look closer later on...

Also all the weather stripping on the windows (the rubber seals) are old and dry. Anyone know if I can still find these new?
The plastic is fairly faded and needs a bit of sanding and some fresh paint.

While driving I felt like I wasnt really liking the throttle feel I was getting. Looking at it today it seemed fairly worn out. Need to look at what I can do to get that cleaned up.

Some other specs. Has A/C, currently not working but came with all parts to set it up. Still debating on whether I am going to do it or not.
Also power driver seat, mirrors and locks. Windows are cranky.
Also battery has been relocated to the trunk.

Doesn't look like a factory sunroof to me. The glass would have safeguard etched in it. Here is pic of factory P-body sunroof. Notice the lack of trim ring around sunroof and the drainholes.

Re: Project Shadowfax: show us the meaning of haste!

So I took Shadowfax out to the Sac raceway to see what it and I could do. I've never drag raced before so it was a learning experience.for me. Only did two runs, with a best of 16.0 missing fourth. During the first run I did something to the shifter and its not wanting to go into 2nd or 4th now. It will but only if I move it in gently. Shift action is smoother and softer now though.
Also noticed a leak that looks like its coming from the driver side axle. Smells like oil. Decided to take it home and do some inspection to see whats going on.

Time were poor but I had a blast!!! I was on pure adreneline from staging to finish line. Definitely lots of room for driver improvement but thats ok with me. Reaction times were 0.6s. Launches felt good but like I was wheel hopping all through first.

    Reaction 0.6047
    60 ft 2.5074
    1/8 10.4030
    1/8 MPH 69.91
    1/4 16.0676
    1/4 MPH 80.5
