Im not saying im 100% certain 1g neon rear struts will work in the front of a k-car, im just saying im 99% sure. Another option for those willing to do a little experimentation.
I am planning to eventually buy some of these for my 95 Neon. If im the first k-car person to put my hands on them, ill figure out the last 1% myself and give a definitive yes or no.

Those look interesting. I'll follow that pretty closely. Actually for everything that's included, you're not too much above replacing with normal parts store stuff if at all.
I had a pair of mk1 vw coil overs of a friend bolted onto my 86sc. I'm thinking the mk2 stuff would fit better tho. They are an inch or two longer overall and have a wider opening where they bolt to the spindle I'm told. Would have to drill another hole for the strut hat/bearing. The rears were exactly the same

You can put any front strut you can put an l-body, into a k-car, with some work. One of the bigger hangups is having to machine/grind material off the spindle for the narrower l-body or even narrower vw strut yoke. The great thing about 1g neon stuff is it bolts directly to the k-car spindle like it was meant to be that way. Then, all you have to modify is the top. Crazy thing is, i THINK a 1g neon rear strut shaft will actually bolt directly to the stock k-car front upper mount. I havent verified this.

I would think the tops would be the same. It's sad but vw has more options for coilovers. Anything from 300 to 6000
i think the mk2 struts have a wider opening but I haven't bought some used stuff from the jy to fit them up yet.

That's not the same as a K car?
Most people don't want to do actual machine work to put new struts in their cars. People who are willing to do a lot of work don't need my advice. The entire strut world is their oyster! Stuff like this is more for the person who wants an almost bolt-in option.

What do you think the bc coil overs are for our cars outside of the strut plates.
