Randy .. I think you could simply relocate the charge temp sensor to where you need it..

should be holes in the front and back of the plenum
I had two april '87 cars.. shelby z's (early vs late)
they had differing locations for the charge sensor and different o-e vacuum harness assemblies
vacuum source locations on the two differed from front and back locations on the manifold

but .. one fits the other if you just move stuff around on the manifold

april 87 also seems when the dual diafram brake booster started going into daytonas
