Looks like a blast!
Jacob, what ever happened to your custom Dakota? I remember seeing it on one of the car shows on TV a LONG time ago (it was blue IIRC).

Nice! Didn't it use Caravan taillights positioned kinda wonky? Got any current pics? (although maybe this is the wrong place for them...so maybe I start a different thread if so?)

Grabbed 2 NOS series 2 engine/a555 from Rossion today. Was a ----- , upper container , pallet broke on fork lift ,,,
Also found a NOS with automatic.
Did not have a chance to scavenge too much else today.
Plus I think we found original engine for the red race car.
Original Mopar receipt/warranty ,
And a rebuild tag on the other. ( fresh engine in 1990!)
All turn freely and look perfect inside head n oil pan.

Great score!
Curious, What did they want for one of those drivetrains?

Trial fitting some body panels. Easier said then done. But I guess thats to be expected with a hand made custom car.
To me , thats the money shot. Tell me that is not a great, aggressive looking car!

so what's the scoop supposed to feed???
Thats for the intercooler. All the race cars had them to move more air. The side vent below is cold air, the opposite side is the oil cooler.

so they moved the intercooler???? cause I thought the factory lower scoop fed the intercooler???
It did. But this got more air flow to intercooler, more air to intake and more cool air to the oil cooler.
With no a/c condensor, it freed up more space.

I know its silly but after fitting the panels we compounded , buffed and waxed car. I dont think the car will need any paint at all. before
