Do you happen to have a schematic of the BCM? I am curious as to why one of my Jeeps has a plug that goes in the bottom of the BCM and the other one doesn't. What does that control?

Ok, I fixed it but am not sure why yet. In the picture you will see a red wire with some electrical tape on it and a blue wire tied into it. While tracing down each wire to make sure there was no chafing or pins pulled out I stumbled on this red wire with tape. I moved the tape and tested voltage and it had none on it. I applied voltage and now everything works fine.
What does this wire go to and why did it lose voltage?
Pull the connector It is attached to and see what it looks like, make sure no pins are pushed out or corroded.
Where does the blue wire go? Wire looks pink in picture, does it have any stripes?

No stripes, red wire. It goes into the first hard shell. Connections look good, no issues seen. Blue wire was a test wire I grabbed power from fuse panel and applied to red wire. At this point I rewired it and grabbed power from an empty spare fuse slot. I pit a 20 amp in line fuse holder in it just in case.
