    Log header - pipe

Since I would like to reuse the very low mileage 46 trim turbo on my 2.5 on the 2.4 I would need to make an exhaust manifold since it will not work with the aftermarket manifolds. Where is the best place to purchase the pipe and is there a recomendation to the type of pipe? I have both the turbo flange and header flange and I am basically making a 2.4 version of the TU stainless header. Also with the talk of the headers cracking, any recomendations on adding material to specific areas to prevent cracking? I have been running the TU header on my 2.5 for several years now with no cracking and the only issue I had was I did not use lock nuts at first and it took out the first gasket. I have since used lock nuts and the last time i had the head off, they were fine.

    Thanks!

I like the sch 10 SS weld el's and pipe. Check with your local pipe supplier they should have plenty of whatever size and material you decide to go with. To prevent cracking you can relieve the head mating flange between cylinders to allow some movemint and to help prevent cracking.
