Shadow clutch cable bracket measurements

I'm in the process of converting my 88 shadow to 5speed from auto. Got a donor car which was a 94tbi and come to find out that it is just a bunch of different parts cars put together. The clutch cable bracket I have off the donor is not correct and I don't think I could even make it work. I'm trying to find a bracket but so far no luck so my question is can I get some measurements of how far away from the firewall to where the clutch cable sits against the stock bracket. I might have to make one up and im told there are more than one bracket to begin with also. Thanks

The bracket on the strut tower correct? I thought they were all the same with the exception of the L body? Do you have a picture of the bracket? There should be a couple of dimples on the strut tower where the bracket should attach on your 88.

I can take a picture tomorrow. But it's not a cast piece or even remotely close to anything I have seen on another car. From what I have found they is this

4412950 same as 4505673 fits P, J, G, H bodies 1988-90

The piece I have looks like a piece of flat stock with a loop on the end.

I have what you pictured. It doesn't bolt up to the factory holes and it seems to set to far away from the firewall cause the sheathing on the cable doesn't make it to the grommet on the firewall

If I had a measurement of how far it should be away from the firewall I could modify it

I will take pictures of what I'm talking about as far as the sheathing on the cable not reaching the firewall when I get home. Hopefully someone with a shadow can take a measurement so I can make my bracket work or extend it if I have to to make it work. I can weld the holes or drill new but the distance off the firewall is the part I need and I would think its critical to make the clutch work right.
