Well, I did buy the Masi 16v intake manifold flange that was recently on eBay. So I have that, and also some valve cover vent ports that were on a prototype engine I bought last year. I'd be down for an intake manifold flange. I'd rather not cut up my stock one.
Another part would be exhaust manifold flanges. The one I have is very nice, it is stainless and is water jetted out, so I don't know if that would be something you could do. There are a few that have been able to make the stock manifold work with a larger turbo without this spacer flange, but using that flange is one of the better/easier ways to do it.
I still would like to have a stock-sized crank pulley, but made out of aluminum. Maybe include a mounting provision for a 36-1 tone ring.
Sounds juicy. Before we start shipping stuff though, lets test the waters to make sure there is interest. I'd say a couple new-item-specific threads would be in order. One for the oil cap, and one for both the intake and exhuast flanges. Id probably steer clear of the crank pulley at the moment though, but perhaps return to it later.
Agreed, and I would certainly be interested an intake manifold flange. I have a couple flanges that I would be happy to send if/when the time is right. Hell, I'll send a whole cylinder head if it warrants it. The Masi 16v head is surprisingly light/compact compared to the TIII head.
Yup. Masi head is around 44#'s. I'd have to re-look it up in my build thread because I know that number is close, but there was something that wasn't on the head, so it wasn't fully dressed IIRC.
Just weighed the new casting I have here, which only has valve guides and seats, and all of the many studs for the intake/exhaust manifolds, thermostat housing, and cam caps. 27 lbs.

I checked the two housings I bought from Asa tonight on the 'mock-up motor' and a production engine that has never been apart on an engine stand. They seem to fit great!

Also, NEWS FLASH:
I am selling prototype #1 and prototype #2 at steep discounts!
Both of them will require modification in order to fit. The tstat housing you end up using with them will also likely require modification.
I have no way to verify or test whether or not modifiying them will work, and I cant accept returns for them for any reason, so please carefully read the R&D thread to see what the fitment pictures showed about them before you decide to purchase either one!
Prototype #1 has a very rough finish with some machining errors on the head flange. It will also likely need more heavy modification to fit than prototype #2, so I am selling it for only $50 shipped!
Prototype #2 has a production quality finish, and will likely require more minor modification than prototype #1, so I'm selling it for $99 shipped!

The pictures show some untapped holes, but all holes will be tapped when you receive either one.
The first picture is prototype #1, and the second is prototype #2. There are many more pictures including fitment test pictures in the R&D thread.
