I've seen hydroprinted things recently, but didn't know how the process worked.
Very cool.
Since I really haven't looked...
1: How much does it cost?
2: can you "do-it-yourself"?
I have known about this for a while, though. It's pretty darn cool.
There are DIY kits and can be done fairly inexpensively. My co-worker was looking into it for doing gun stocks and whatnot since he lives out in a more...redneck type of area.
If you browse around youtube, there are videos about setting up DIY stuff on the cheap.
There's several people locally that have done this to engine parts like valve covers. I'm sure prep is key, but it seems to be pretty durable.
