i vote it be at my house!! i have a nice grassy 1/2 acre for the car show... a few spare beds and sleeping bags and a nice little stretch of leclair rd we can drag race on... oh and for auto x... i have Gran Torisimo!!!
Would love to go. The whole family is meeting in Orlando around the time SDAC is expected to be happening, but if it's close enough to SC I can play with the vacation dates and make it happen.
National trail or Norwalk would be nice

I was surprised by how much Milan cost. I'm sure JT is working hard on putting it together.
Back in 2000 at SDAC-10, Milan was fairly cheap. I was very surprised at the increase in price for SDAC-18. Milan was nearly as expensive as Pittsburgh Int'l Raceway was at SDAC-17 (within a couple hundred).
I heard somewhere in the last couple years that Norwalk wasn't as pricey, but I don't know for sure as I never inquired of them. But they have changed management in the last few years, so ..... who knows?

Chuck always said Quaker City was reasonable
Fairly close to PA
And I heard last week Dragway 42 sold, has new owners
They are actually making the burnout box so you don't have to
Back into it, which didn't work for FWD
Also they are repaving and building new grandstands
Milan turned NHRA since and costs have increased. I vote Detroit as well. Just happens I live near there....
Yes where will it be inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks George, we are, trust me, and add Dave and Marybeth to that list as well!
OK everyone....
I have a couple full time jobs right now (why I don't post a dozen posts a day like I used to, LOL!) and trust me, every spare minute is working on SDAC activities and SDAC-24 event planning.
First off, if anyone has any questions about SDAC, please ask me directly via jt@sdac.org or direct them to e-mail me. Between the forums, sections on forums, many groups on facebook, twitter, etc. if you ask a question, chances are I may not find it!
Secondly, here is the TM link to SDAC-24 official information: CLICK HERE
and I'll also echo it below:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SDAC-24
Dates: We are looking at dates between June 19th and 24th. This follows our typical "weekend after Father's Day" but may have some events before the weekend instead of the typical having all the events after.
We have a location and hope to have the event dates confirmed within a week or two and will make the official announcements as follows:
First, announce to SDAC members via Up Front newsletter & e-mail
Second, announce everywhere else... www.sdac.org, forums, facebook, twitter, yell real loud out my window.
e-mail jt@sdac.org with any questions.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course now everyone is thinking "why would we switch to a different schedule, from after the weekend to before the weekend?" Short answer is, depends on track availability and we have some new thoughts on schedule too.
Again, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING!
I hope this answers most questions in the thread! I will continue to check this thread, if it is urgent, again, please e-mail me!
OK, time to go prepare this week's and the "final" SDAC Calendar shipment!

I was thrilled to see that SDAC 24 info thread. Then I read it. I'll be pumped two to three weeks from now it looks like. I can't wait and I hope it's really far away this year.
far away for you would be socal or vegas which I would love
Da bears
Not wanting to say never gonna happen but it certainly wont unless the 'Local Host Club' gets deeply involved in planning and prep. Vegas makes sense to me as a destination city even if car numbers are below average. I think there would be enough members bringing families for all the 'other activities' Vegas has to offer. It will take a lot more than just wishing for it in a thread
