I really hope it is someplace close to socal, I'd love to go to one, but am not likely to go cross country for it.

    Yes.

I told her, " well we'll see what you think of them when I rent one to drive off in after the wedding."

I vote Detroit for obvious reasons! Also, the worlds cleanest Caravan is in The Henry Ford museum, you know you want to see it!

The Henry Ford is one of the biggest automotive and transportation museums in the world. Yes it was founded by Ford's creator, but it's not specifically any one manufacturer.

Agreed re: the Ford Museum. It's not just about Fords. The have a tour of the River Rouge assembly plant, which is worth it just for the video on its history. Spent an entire day there at SDAC-22 & didn't see everything. Would definitely go back.

    Re: Sdac 24?

If it is announced soon, I *might* be able to fly in or something. I know it's not going to be anywhere near the west coast for obvious reasons. I had a TON of fun at SDAC-21 (that's first one that was at the hotel that it was at this past time, right?). The Henry Ford Museum is friggin AMAZING!! Detroit is a GREAT venue for SDAC IMHO. It's close enough for the majority of TM people to get to easily, and central enough that it's not completely on the other side of the world for us west coast people (man, never thought I'd be saying THAT!! LOL).

I drove from Jacksonville, Fl to Detroit, participated in the road course event, and drove home. It was a 2-day trip both ways, even with 2 drivers, but it was still worth it!
