Description:1986 Chrylser Lebaron GTS 2.2 Turbo1 auto trans. 5 brand new BFG tires full size spare. Tan/red in color. power everything would be a great parts or starter car. every thing works great dr windows off track some but works. good heat and a/c. added cd player and boost gauge but no holes so could be removed for a stock look have factory radio. and the traveler data computer.

Con-Car will start but has a very rough idle and no power in gear im not sure whats wrong ive tired a few things but since this was my daily wife said it has to go asap to get a car.

How long do you want to stay?? According to our weathermen, we are going to be in the upper 20s at night early next week!! Way too cold for me. I don't know how you guys further north handle it. I grew up in Atlanta and it got too cold for me there!! I would like to have the car, though!

Just for the H of it, charge the battery and start it and let it run for 15 minutes. Shut it off and pull the vac line to the fpr. If you smell gas, it's the fuel pressure regulator. $90 bucks at most places.

i do smell gas did it this weekend. but would that make it not have any power in gear to move out of its own way

I've had similar symtoms with plugged fuel filters. It would idle but would stall when I gave it some gas, but a plugged fuel filter would not explain the fuel smell.

Yes, it would, as it would be sucking raw fuel right into the intake, over-fueling it, potentially in a big way.

You can probably smell the excess fuel in the exhaust too, maybe even see black smoke while it's idling.
