Losing Extra Weight?

Anyone remember the Ed Peters Omni from way back?? It was rumored to be 1700 lbs, as I remember, there was a picture of someone holding the rear of the car off the ground by the bumper. I think Ed's Dad got sick and he retired from the T-M scene quickly and I haven't heard of the Omni since.

Shadow has a great build thread about lightning his Charger and keeping it load legal. He went through much of his car and posted the weight savings he achieved, very impressive and creative build!!

Going back to this thread....Matchbox has lexan on all doors and hatch, but on the rear doors I still kept the little quarter glass and little metal frame. I love the one piece look of your rear doors with no quarter glass...that will be one of my things to do before next racing season!

More wt removal at the end of this season now has my cars wt down to 1875 dry wt and 1895 with gas.
