    AutoX Shelby Charger

I have had the car for over a year now, but I'm just now getting parts for my build.
The plan for the car is a budget SMF class build, this class is almost a anything goes as long was its front wheel drive and not some tube chassis all out gutted race car. Currently the class is dominated by various type of civics I ran the car this season with the suspension it came with stockish front struts with cut road race springs and rear konis with cut stock springs. For tires i had 205/50/15 hooisers on 6.5 crabs, this set up led to many smokey corner exits and a good amount of under steer.
    So on to the build...
Koni Coilovers 400lb front 300lb rear springs
Front 15x10 -12 offset Diamond racing wheels with 275/35/15 Hooiser R6 compound (this is the road race compound because I can get a slightly used pair for around $160, just one new A6 autocorss compound is $350)
Rear 6.5 crabs 225/45/15 Hancook AutoX Slicks
Shelby Z brakes I'm looking for some better pads.

    Engine Set up
    2.2 common block
    Forged crank
    2.2 forged rodwith arp bolts
    .020 Mahle pistons
    Melling high volume oil pump
    Crank scraper
    LRE ported exhaust manifold
    87 2 piece with 52mm throttle body
Billet fuel rail with 53lb injectors
    Accufab adjustable fpr
    Walbro 255
    Adjustable cam gear
    F4 cam
    3bar with custom cal
50 trim t3/t4 hybrid with stock compressor housing w/ 63 state turbine
3" swingvalve with t bolt clamp and exhaust
big ebay intercooler with turboxs bov

The class has a minimum weight the calculation is 1750lbs + 125lbs/L +1L for forced induction so 2150 lbs is my minimum weight.
The only weight reduction is having the rear seats and carpet removed
Ill continue to updated this thread once the season starts I'm hoping to run several local events and a few national events.

Your car has a nice stance, and while I normally don't care for the crab style wheels, yours look very nice in the body color!

The car has a phantom grip extreme, an obx is coming when the budget allows.

    Re: AutoX Shelby Charger

Are they really that heavy? The ones I have on my car aren't near that much. With tires, they are almost as light as my 17" wheels/tires combo on the GLHS. I thought that brand was lightweight or does that depend on the model of that style?

Nope no tires, I did some research and you can get lighter wheels from diamond but they aren't DOT approved.
