First off, heeeeeey everybody!
Ok so I just picked up a 1990 dodge daytona ES 2.5L T1 / 5-speed in pretty decent shape for $500 bucks, the fuel system was kaput. The gas tank had about 1/2" of rust sludge and the guy I bought it from kept throwing fuel pumps at it. To say that didn't work too well. Well I put a 91 Spirt R/T fuel pump, brand new gas tank and sending unit in and changed the connector over to the newer style since this uses the older electronics. Works good, has great fuel pressure. Took the injectors out and backwashed them with some acetone at 100psi and got the injectors cleaned. I replaced the fuel rail and FPR just to be safe.
here is the first start after 11 years of sitting in a old ladys garage

Car runs great but has with 3 issues.
Runs hot going down the interstate and cruising at 25-40mph. As soon as you hit a stop light or coast it'll slowly go about 1/2 on the gauge and when cruising at 70+mph it sits 3/4 on the gauge. It has not climbed any higher then that though. Sometimes while its warming up the temp will climb rapidly and drop twice as fast. doesn't really cool or get hotter when in boost or decel. (edit: car had no radator cap when I got it)
5Psi of boost, think the solenoid is bad. How can i check this? The car has no codes stored except battery disconnected
Oil pressure. Seems a bit low compared to my 91 daytona TBI. Runs at 1/4 the gauge all the time. Going to change the oil before i start driving it anymore
Any help would be appreciated as I hit a deer a few days ago in my old daytona
