    Re: $2013 GRM Lancer Shelby

I have foolishly given all of them away!! I have 2 easily fixable 2.2s on the ground and a tall block 2.5 that would need going through. The only 'good' 2.5s i have right now are all in cars. Go figure.

I think you missed some quote markes around one of the words above. Pull the pan and see how many rods wobble back and forth though I would assume your mains are smoked. Ever seen a 10/10 ground crank with standard bearings on the mains? I did that once when I thought only the rod journals were resized and did not measure the crank. :P I let it start up and then decided to take it right back apart upon hearing that rattle.

You, know, i thought about that but i figured if it made it 100 miles without making noise it couldnt have been a bearing mismatch. But anything's possible.

Funny thing, i have a thread for this car on GRM and in that thread i used quotes around the word "rebuilt". Haha

I've actually got 2 2.2s i could fix and use, but i dont want a 2.2 in this car. 2.2 and auto don't go together in my opinion. I appreciate the offer, though!

I MAY pick up a free used 2.5 t1 bottom end on saturday.
