I believe they went, but only as spectators this year. He didn't have the same team support to finish the car this year as last year, so I don't think he got it finished in time. I actually need to call him and talk to him! I'll try to do that tomorrow.
Congrats for the back to back wins! I still can't believe how close the end results were again. You guys pretty much did exactly what you did last year, which is quite the accomplishment. You guys are an inspiration to the rest of us.
We ended up with the same results as last year too (1st in the auto-x and 3rd overall), and I wish we had more time for more drag runs, because we were getting fast toward the end of the day. We had a 12.6-12.7 pass in the Jeep left out there on the track. I'm still amazed at how fast that thing is. 12.98 in a damn Jeep is fast!
Can't wait to see what you guys are bringing in $2014!
