Underdrive pulley belt sizes

Anyone know what the belt sizes should be for the commonblock underdrive pulley? Need to know the waterpump/alternator belt and the power steering belt size. I can't find this info anywhere. I know stock ones are 38 and 41 inches, and I'd guess around 2-3 inches shorter for a UDP but I'd rather someone with this info just chime in before I go buy belts and have to return them for different sizes like 3 times lol.

Those are non commonblock sizes. The CB are shorter from the different water pump configuration. I would think the power steering belt would be the same though. However, he says 42'' and the stocker is 41'', and that makes no sense at all it should be smaller if anything not larger.

Stuff like this should be in the knowledge center already but anyways you could measure them up using an old belt and then go get them. Then save the numbers for next time.

I'll need to go visit Mini in the next couple days, so I could try and get numbers off of her belts. She has the aluminum underdrive pulley. If you don't get them before then that is.

I've seen suggestions of using a string and then measure it....but I want to have the belts on hand already before engine installation.

String sets too deep in the groove take ur old belt cut it in half then wrap it around like its supposed to go and mark where it overlaps. Then lay it flat and measure it out and go get one. Make sure ur tensioners or idler pulleys are in the middle of the range when doing so

Well, going through all that is what I was hoping to avoid. I'd like to have them ready to go when I install the engine instead of making another trip to the parts store.

OK, what year common block and is it a 2.2 or a 2.5 because there are several different belt sizes for common block set-ups..... unless of course you would rather use the string method

She asked you a direct question which you didn't answer. Perhaps she has better things to do than list every possible combination and matching belt after asking for specifics.

The list would be very short, because every commonblock 8v engine uses the same size alternator/waterpump belt. There's only 2 different sizes on the power steering. I tried searching 8 different turbo dodge's of various years (of commonblocks, 89-94) and body styles and came to those conclusions.

I clearly said commonblock in my OP, an 87 2.2 isn't a commonblock. She was only trying to save face after realizing she can't read by saying that there's ''several'' combinations it could be. I called her bluff by asking to list them all.

When I get lied to, I have the right to give attitude. So why don't you keep your 2 cents to yourself, because it's not even worth 2 cents.
