Have a 92 5spd like this:
Want to install stock style auto shifter with console if needed
to look decent. Other TD floor shifters may be the same not
sure but cant get to salvage yard to look at em.

Word on the street is I only need the shifter/coverplate for
my present console (with cable if available).
I know of a LeBaron AA that has a gray setup. It has 604 tho. Will it work minus the lettering?
Only diff was the shift indicator plate. Shifter/cable is the same.
You can use other shifters from other cars, as long as it's a floor shifter. I'd stick with AA, J, P, or G body, as I have seen all 4 of these side-by-side, and they are identical. '91-up has the simulated leather shift knob, while the '90-back have the old square shooter. You can put the later ball on the earlier shifter, but you need to cut about 3/8" off the older model shifter for the ball to drop down properly.
I might be interested in the manual knob/boot/plate if you decide to sell it.
I have the auto parts coming from a member.Originally Posted by Lone Eagle
