I did these seats and will tell you it is worth way more than asking price. The leather used is top quality and cost over $300 per hide. The recaro material is brand new and looks awesome. The rear seat also has the same sweet leather and like new recaro/shelby material.
Tim also bought spare seats and gave me a selection of a bunch of foam bolsters and I used the best ones.
Anyone remember the front (crappy, not reupholstered) pair on ebay last year that went for over $1000?

Very nice!!! It would be awesome if someone started making/selling repo upholstery for our cars like the this Shelby material! I have a some 89 CSX seats that I will need repaired eventually.

I tried buying some of the Shelby material on eBay for this purpose. Instead people bought it to hoard and never use.

I'm thinking you should buy these and sell your old ones...The material was a pain to find and most recaros are chewed up from use... Who ever does buy these will have an amazing interior... Ed did a great job! Thank you

Ed does an amazing job indeed! I wish I could afford his skills. Seats look awesome, I'm still eyeing them, and although they are worth every penny Tim is asking, it's hard for me to part with so much money for just seats. Worst part is that the interior would be so awesome it would me costs thousands more to bring the exterior of my vehicle up to the same standards!!! GLWS

I work with leather also. Is it edelman? If its a average hide size of 50 sq feet i bet it costs a lot more than $300 a hide. If the leather was black these woud be in my Consulier already. Free bump

Nope, not edelman. That can only be afforded by jet plane owners.
It is however a analine died top grain from Europe.
Intact I won't use anything that is not analine died. the crap used in Most American cars in not top grain and its just painted.
Mopar318 redid the drivers seat in my SRT4 with leather instead of vinyl...GREAT JOB! Was the SHELBY on the original seats silk screened? Seems like someone could scan a section and have some material done up....the old Matchbox would want one...just one!

OMGosh! If I only had the $2000 plus shipping I'd be all over this like white on rice, and a glass of milk on a paper plate in a snow storm! I've got an otherwise perfect interior in my 89 CSX...EXCEPT the drivers seat bottom! I'd pay almost any reasonable price for 1 yard of the Shelby fabric. Maybe even an un-reasonable price....
