    power streering pump

    not sure if any body cares but there are less of these car out there so i look at all the k cars when i go to pull a part so i came across a p body nonturbo had a brand new power steering pump so after pulling lines and brakets it way differant pump that is on my daytona my is all steel this one is plastic like what was on my 88 z. its on know just need to adj. belt

    If I remember right, the ZF pump had a tensioner bolt on the bottom of the bracket kind of like how you tighten the alternator. Big PITA.

    I kinda like the ZF power steering pumps. The ZF tensioner bolt is a bit out of the way, but I like that you can tension it incrementally like an alternator belt, rather than guessing at the tension using a 1/2" breaker bar with the Saginaw pump, especially with fuel lines being in the way.
