Title not made and mailed to me yet, so not sure what it will say.

They had to come out and look at it to make sure it was not a kit car and had the epa sticker on it.

Wow your state is brutal.

I take title and bill of sale is optional.

Registered historic so don't have to have inspected or smog test.

A had the MSO is all. They mail the title to me in "about 3 weeks" from when I went in and gave them the MSO.
They treated it as a new car, as I am the first owner.
No inspections or smog checks here anyway.

After this, they never want to see the car again, just pay for tags.

4 months and 2 weeks to get a title and tags. Well worth the wait IMO.

I do have 1 regret.

When I called mike back in early June about acquiring a Consulier, he said how many do you want?

I said well just 1. In retrospect i would have bought about 10 of them.

Been doing some thinking.....

And I just hung up the phone with Leo at Motorcepts in New York.

So after seeing this car which is practically new



I'm pretty sure in going to "trade" this car



into Motorcepts in New York who did all the work on it. He will paint this car...



The same Estoril blue. They will block it, prime it and get it smooth.

So that's about $13k worth of paint and body work and I don't have to go thru the hassle of selling a car.

I think it would be awesome on the GTP. Give it a bit more flash. The stock colour is a bit subtle. I dont think these cars were meant to be subtle.

Dude, you love that M3, don't do it!! You have your Consulier to fill your race niche, another one isn't gonna fill the cool occasional DD/weekend driver niche that the M3 does, Don't do it Oh wait, I already said that. Just in case you missed it, don't do it. See, I know this guy that thought a collection of one 16V TC Masi in each color made was a good idea If I could talk to that guy 5-6 years ago, I woulda told him it was a dumb idea
