Sorry I just saw this.
Springs are qa1 with 2.5 diameter and are in stock on Summit Racing and Jegs.

They are 9" long.
We took the new 450's off the rear and moved them to the front.
Bought new 550's.
I also have new 350's and 650's and 220's but those are going back.
Did you know what the stock ones were front and back?
Great stuff for great cars! Poly engine mounts and bushings at: http://www.polybushings.com
My stocks were 350 rear and don't know front as they weren't marked but if I had to guess 220-350.
So heard a bunch of noise after first session and found this in the trunk! Guess they didn't see it at tech either !
Car is a different than fwd for sure. Had a spin encounter than a correction spin encounter in turn 7/8 but saved it. Session 3 was WAY better than 1 and 2.
Running 8 lbs boost because it's all I need at this point. Keeping up with late model vettes and boss 302's on the straights.
In the turns they are destroying me because I'm learning the mid engine setup.
Ran session 1 with street pads and quickly swapped to track pads and what a difference. Have total confidence in my brakes at this point.

Steve from NY. That's one fast Mustang in my group
More banjo fitting fun.
Thought I had it fixed and still getting 18 psi.
Brian said washer fell off so put top washer on bottom side to run min boost.
Track closes at 5:30. Let's give this another try
What fun.
You have to learn this car. The OMNI is fast right away but this car will be faster once I learn it.
Having the confidence to rotate it in the corners is going to take some time
.
Broke in straight lines today and fan all day with no instructor and passing everywhere on track.
That was a first for me as well as a first on the main circut.
Ran at 8 psi all day and could keep up with most cars on the straights but they knew how to set their cars up for the turns and had better lines.
There is potential in Frankenstein and the brakes are awesome!
Swapped out street pads after first sessions and track pads were perfect balance
Glad to hear the good report Mike. The camber on that mustang looks pretty intense so to be hanging with him is probably a pretty big deal.
Oh and I forgot to mention this.
Car ran 185 temp ALL DAY. This car would be a 24 hours racer for sure.
Gets so much cooling it's ridicilous.
Yea shoud probably clarify what i said earlier. In a straight line i could hang, other than that he pretty much lapped me
Session 3 i passed a mini a vette and an Bimmer.
Session 5 was open track so I was getting passes by pretty much everyone
There were no novices or instructors. I was by far the most inexperienced driver there with a new to me car, but with 2.5 hours of track time that was a good day for us.
Car handles neutral and It also gives you warning if the back end is coming loose. Session 1 i drove it like a fwd car and the back end came around on me so i made sure that didnt happen again.
I need to get on a skid pad to see where the limits are with this car.
need more rear tire?
Unrelated but I can tell a true BMW guy when he uses the proper term for cars
Nice job though.

185 all day! How long where your sessions? Outside temp? If you can hold that temp once you get used to the car , up the boost and pound it like we did are Omni's last month would be just ridiculous. Great.
Glad you are using it and intend to track it when you can. This is no trailer queen.
Sessions were 30 minutes each with is on the longer side.
Then I had a 5 the session at end of day which is highly unusual.
Temp was mild at 85 but I don't think that matters.
Rad filters so much air and heat much find it's way out of the engine bay unlike the Omni.
As for more rear tire I had pressures low all day. I could have filled them a little to help car rotate but u didn't want to so that just yet.
This car on the track with the right tire / spring / shock and driver experience at 20 psi would be ridicilous.
Will probably change front shocks to some kind of adjustable ones and tires this winter.
Springs rate will stay the same for now.
Spiro get ready for Mont Tremblaunt next June !
LMAO nope.
