I've never met Mike Wah [168glhs1986] in person, but googled his name, and this picture came up:

So, that explains the unlimited funds...

    Re: T3 GTP build

I was looking at that. The 2 spares masi motors are worth the asking price alone, lol.

I would want the RWD version and I know the current owner put a lot of time and money into bringing it back to life but at $80k you would have to love Dodge a little more than I do

If I were to spend $80 k on a dedicated race car it would more than likely be one with a Porsche badge on it.

    Re: T3 GTP build

How is the shifter mechanism arranged on the transmission? I notice that there are 2 inputs in the shifter housing with what appears to be a bar on the end where the cables normally attach.

    Re: T3 GTP build

That's a good question. All I know is we didn't want to experiment with the 568 tranny because this was already setup to run the 555 and it would have been difficult / if not impossible to change.

Since you mentioned it, here is the new twin plug 3.2 going into my 1750lb early 911.

Awesome car, I wish I could have bought one when they went up for sale. I have to say though that I like the old star wheels better than the chrome ones.

On that site, the Porsche badged cars go for WAY more than $80k.

If you stumble upon a set of unwanted (read cheap) carbs like the one's in you picture... let me know, I've got a Falconer intake for a GM V6 (60*) that is awful lonely...

Seems like they are quite coveted, every set I've found makes stand-alone Fuel Injection look much more appealing.
