Can't wait to have you up hear. Car looks fantastic. We are going to have a blast. Unfortunatly the Red Baron and Frankenstein will not play together being that he's out of order. I'll find something to use for that weekend.
    See you soon.

Car looks FANTASTIC! Kudos to Brian for all his hard work.

So what you are saying is the M3's are no longer at the top of your favorite list? You still looking to sell it?

This isn't 1/4 mile. It's a wonderful track that's about 3 miles long. I was pushing speeds of 110mph on long sweeps and topping at around 125mph with the GLH. With the GTP it will be just nuts Here is a link:

We will be timing ourselves just the same but don't expect sub 11 sec. !!

My drive was filled with the usual super model attention the car gets on the road. I obliged one video taker with a few 5th to 4th 65-90 mph pulls.

So the short plan yesterday was:

    Out with 225 45 16 front and 225 50 16 rear
    In with 205 45 16 front and 225 45 16 rear

Lowered front to 23 1/4" and kept rear at 23 7/8.

After 5 attempts: REAR shocks to 13 (single adjustable) and FRONT shocks to 8 compression and 10 rebound.

Welded on a new exhaust tip as the old one cracked. Brought it out a litte further past the license plate.

Car handles night and day different. Frank loves RAKE.

Getting it corner balanced and aligned on Tuesday. Then off to Canada to visit Spiro and Mont Tremblant.

This car keeps getting better and and is becoming quite addicting.

Looks great! Can't wait to hear how you do on track.

    Re: T3 GTP build

Yes that was the targa for sale in Florida over a year ago.

    - - - Updated - - -

Had car corner balanced. I was 47 front and 53 rear. He raised the right front and now we are at 50/50.

Car weighs 2207 lbs without me and with a half tank.

Alignment specs are rear maxed out at .08 negative. Front .06 negative. Front toe zero and rear toe is 1/16 in.

At least now we officially know how much one weighs

    Re: T3 GTP build

I called them back and they now said the 2208 included the 190 lb driver and 180 lb passenger. Can this possibly be right?

I can start to believe it, being I have an empty monocoque my wife and I could move. They said 300 lbs for the shell.

    Re: T3 GTP build

    Ok...so I called back....twice.

Then ensured me the car was corner balanced with the 370 lbs of weight in the seats.

This would mean the car with 1/2 tank weighs 1838 lbs. So........I guess this means I'll have to have it weighed again to double check.

Oh and my brand new passenger side window motor decided to stop working again....Man sometimes I hate old cars and I just want to sell them all and buy a Porsche GT3 and actually save money

    Re: T3 GTP build

There you go bringing reality into my daydream.

Alright, how about a GT4 and pocket $20 grand. Whats that? Gt4 sold out....

Guess ill stick with my current garage of old junk for now.

Good news is took the window motor out and it started working again, reinstalled and good for the trip to canada.

On a side note. Talked to a guy at ptuning for 4 hours while waiting or my alignment. He was getting his stock f20 2.0 s2000 motor with new turbo tuned. 10 psi made 380 hp and 290 torque. Nice!

They have to-they only have the torque of a butterfly wing stock.
