Thanks for that link. I'll have to check out the reference to Katz. From what little I've read thus far it seems to be citing him and the Milliken brothers almost exclusively.

It seems to look more like a research paper, really. However due to the references I think it would be hard to go too wrong. I think Milliken actually suggests the book by Katz for a more in-depth look at car aero.
Agreed. This one is much cheaper than Milliken's work too. Although not exactly the same thing of course.

Met David at 6:30 am. Assembled lights, washed loaded on trailer and on the road at 7:30 am.
Will install the GTP sticker on Friday.
Should arrive at hotel by 9:30 pm ish if all goes well
Hard to tell the difference in the low morning light, but it does look good.
Thanks. It's a big difference. If I had to guess looks like when if did when new except now a white stripe instead of gold.
It's also official. Sorry all the Consulier purists but to the general public my car is officially a Mosler GTP. It's so much easier to say and for them to remember
So the stickers you have for it are going to say Mosler GTP? At least some people will know who/what Mosler is.
Stickers are just GTP. I tell them Mosler since Consulier is such a unusual and made up word they can't remember it.
I feel they will remember GTP and I always give them the year. If you research 1990 GTP the car does come up.
That's the best I can do
Yea but unfortunately people see GTP and think about the ponti-wreck GTPs. Good motor but 1980+ pontiacs are garbage (except the G8 but that is a Holden so it doesnt count)
GTP was also a race claas back in the 80's iirc.
I tell them it's powered by a turbo dodge 4 banger
We all know that IROC was a racing series but if you say IROC Daytona people say "don't you mean Camaro?" some people just don't know that stuff. I told someone about the Consulier GTP and they said "you mean that crap pontiac from the 90's?" I guess you just can't help some folks.
Also, now that I'm looking at the pictures on my PC instead of my phone I can really tell the difference! It looks great man.
I know...get a windshield banner with either "MOSLER" or "CONSULIER" on it. That might help.
Great idea I'll reaper I'm glad I thought of that.
It would definitely say Consulier
Black looks good!
I've been saying Mosler too when folks ask. Easier and sounds cooler. Although Consuleeeeer is growing on me. "Omni GLH motor" is probably the best shot at explaining the power train.

I've been pronouncing it Con-sue-lee-air, makes it sound fancy!
I thought that too! Thats what made me hate it.. but when I found out the right way to say it, well its not so bad. :P

What's right?
Great stuff for great cars! Poly engine mounts and bushings at: http://www.polybushings.com
"Mosler, who made his fortune in government securities, is racing to corner a rather eclectic market with his futuristic car, the Consulier GTP (pronounced CON-se-leer). He calls his creation ``the next generation of sports cars.``"

Not sure what's right but I say... lee-air also. I think it sounds european which I typically wouldn't mind but it's made in Florida.
