'87 LM no spark, no fuel

I've got an '87 LM I wanted to use on an'86 T2 conversion but when installed I get no power to coil or fuel pump. Unplug it and install another LM and car starts right up. Anyone know what in the LM would cause this? Thanks

Probably a bad lm. If another lm works fine, then something is wrong internally on the 87 lm.

When keyed up but before your crank, does the fuel pump prime along with power loss light illumination?

Hm, as I recall the PL lite was not on, am I'm certain the fuel pump prime as they normally do when first keyed-up.

Confirming that both are functional is an indication that the module does successfully power up.
On the other hand, there are differences between 86' and 87' from a pin-out stand point and may have an influence on everything functioning properly.

Sorry I should have proof read my post. I didn't have either PL or fuel prime.

The trouble is with an '87 T1 a/t LM. I'm trying to use in this '86 T&C T2 conversion. I assumed, and so moved and added the wires as I did when converting my '87 SC to T2 using a CSX stage II LM. I actually still have the MP conversion guide I used for the SC (yeah, I'm a back-rat).

The LM I used to troubleshoot, which actually started the vehicle is a GLHS stage II, and I've also started the vehicle with the original '86 T1 LM.

The MP guide says to add the additional Automatic Idle Speed Motor wires and plug them in to cavities 16 & 21 of the RED connector. MP guide also says to move the Vehicle Speed Sensor from BLUE-14 to RED-9, and also move Power Loss Lamp from BLUE-4 to RED-4. I also moved the MAP Sensor from inside to under the hood, 5v Supply to RED-1 and SENSOR SIGNAL to BLUE-19.
