You have no idea, lol. From what we can figure is the coil was back feeding into the -wire of the coil causing the fan relay to freak out and eventually causing the car to stall. When my friend joel powered the fuelpump through the + side of coil it may just have been enough to cause to coil to finally give up.

Tags and Insurance today.Ill drive it to work tomorrow, mount the wheels and tires off subbie and align it.I also check it out good on a lift.Have to fix some little stuff. Also found out the windshield leaks.Ill have to get that fixed.i also ordered a Billet fuel rail from FWD performance to replace the loaner I have on it.Ill get some miles on it,put the bigger injectors and adjustable FPR back in and see if i can get to the track before they close.Want to get a baseline on it before the season is out.

Installed the wheels and tires off the subbie(VW corrado wheels dipped with 215/75/15 goodyear wranglers).Surprisingly they dont rub.Ill have to get different tires when I lower it.Also aligned it best i could(Have a new rack to install) and looked it over.Ill need to get rear wheel bearings,Control arms, bushings are shot, struts and shocks.Need to clean the tires up,Didnt realize how dirty they where on the blackwallside.Had the raised white letters out on the subbie.

Also installed some clearance seat covers on the front seats.$14 for both and they match the interior.Want to try and keep the seats descent. They are in really good shape.

Re: Brought home my 3rd Tubo van

Today gearhead24-7 came and picked up the subbie.Im really going to miss that car.It has really been a good vehicle and had heated seats. Now I have the ball vent in the van and heat that could roast a pig.We also figured out what wrong with the trans. It was low on fluid. When we checked it last sunday it looked like it was overfull. Why are the dipsticks so hard to read in these things.Chris drove it while I was in passenger seat since I had some beverages. He had a huge grin on his face. Also found the heater control valve leaking, picked one up and will change it at work tomorrow.A trip to PRP may still happen

Re: Brought home my 3rd Tubo van

Yesterday I flushed trans and changed filter. Was having some issues with trans not wanting to move in drive when coming to a stop but would shift fine manually.Found some metal in the pan,no huge pieces but small enough where it may have been caught in valve body.No clutch material.Trans works perfectly now.Ive decided dragstrip will have to wait until next season, cant risk breaking something this close to winter.Dismounted the tires on the crabs I got off Chris for the snow tires.Going to clean them up today and get some paint on them.Today I need to pull the HVAC unit and see why I can only get heat out defroster and install oil catch can.Need to clean up wiring before next sat.Local tuner club is having a meet.Cant wait to see the ricers faces when they see turdo.
