I thought they took it apart to make the electric van?
With the price of big electric motors back then that would make sense.

I have a 52hp brushless DC motor and controller from 1993. Supposedly they cost 50k back then. Or at least, that's what the manufacturer was selling them to the government for.

That would have worked great in place of the 3 banger 1 ltr motor that used to be in a Geo I had.....
