    Distributor O-Ring Size

    Anybody know the exact size?

Since the old one is now "square-edged plastic", it's kinda hard to put it in the "o-ring sizer".

    Best we could tell it was 3/32 x 7/8 ID X 1 1/6 OD...

    Thanks in advance,
    CG

They may still be available, I bought one about a year ago from the dealer.

I have two new ones from Mopar. You are exactly correct on all three dimensions. Excellent calculated guess!

I've always been able to find them at local parts stores. It's a Fel-Pro number. Just bought one a few weeks ago.

    Re: Distributor O-Ring Size

I went down to the local bearing/o-ring dealer, "Motion Industries"...

Never occurred to me they would have it at the parts store (duh)...
Heck, I have a hard enough time getting them to pull the correct parts most of the time.

    Looks like it's Fel-Pro - Distributor Mounting Gasket, Part # 70799

I had figured it out before I went down there because I have this wonderful "o-ring kit" or assortment of hundreds of o-rings in a sweet case that I bought years ago.
Of course, I don't think that it has ever actually yielded a single o-ring that I needed...BUT it does list sizes of the o-rings in the kit, so I can compare what I have to what I need...and then go buy what's not in the case.

Thanks very much for confirming what I thought, and reminding me to check the parts store first....
