Unhappy fusable links on a 1987 omni

Hi all I have a little issue,i bought an Omni last year and in running the car i noticed the idle motor was inactive,i'm in the process of rebuilding the car so I do not want to start this car with a fusable link missing, when that could be exactly why the idle motor does not work. Is there a link I can go to or can someone give me some direction on this matter(help please) thanks errol respect.

Those are links to the fusible link schematic.

None of the fusible links feed the AIS motor directly. Check the connector for the AIS / throttle position sensor pigtail. Sometimes the connectors come loose from the plastic housing.

You can test it by unplugging the pigtail and feeding 12 volts DC to the wires of the AIS. It should move with voltage.

T1 AIS motors are notorious for not working properly. New ones are no longer available, so if it's bad, you'll have to find a good used one.
