This is the turbine housing I did for the GLHS. It has been ported with guidance of 5Digits, and ceramic coated in cast iron gray.
Now here's the catch. I ported the wastegate hole to match the larger puck on the Turbos Unleashed 3" swingvalve housing I had planned on using. The puck on a stock 2.5" housing does cover the hole (barely), but the two we tried tonight have a tendancy for the puck to catch on the edge of the hole causing it to bind open. If you want to use a stock 2.5" housing, you can try your luck. Or better yet, if you have a way to put a larger puck in, or the TU 3" swingvalve, a custom swingvalve, or an external wastegate, then this is the housing for you!
This is the second of two .48 housings I ported, and easily the better of the two. It was supposed to go on the Charger tonight, but I had to use the first one due to the puck issue. I can assure you the Charger gained a very noticeable improvement in spool time and overall fun factor with the upgrade (which also included a ported/polished compressor housing and 2.5" swingvalve). While I don't have any hard numbers, the butt dyno says the car now accelerates harder than it did with the Super 60 we took off, with no other changes.
The price is $150 shipped, FIRM. Given the time, porting materials, and ceramic coating, I have way more than that into it.
