The people that go to this show now are the ones that haven't gone in the past. The people at the track destroyed the show, 15 years ago it was good.
Yeh I used to go all the time in the 90s. Went two years ago and the crowd was half the size. Made it easy to get a trophy though!
Participation is down, but that just means you get more passes in!

I used to be a car show judge at this event, judging B-Body Stock, 1968-1970, Dodge and Plymouth. Back around 1989-1992 we used to get thousands of cars in the show field, the numbers of cars in just the class I judged sometimes hit 200 cars. This event was huge and a lot of fun.
I didn't go to the event from 1994-2001 but returned to the event in 2002. What a disappointment it was for me. I do not think there were more than maybe 150 cars in the show field, a tenth of what it used to draw, and the weather was perfect too so I realized that for whatever reason, this Mopars at E-Town's best days were behind it.
Around 200 cars here today
Got a 2nd place trophy
