2013 Mopar Nationals - National Trail Raceway Columbus OH, August 9-11

This weekend, who's going?

We will again have the SDAC tent set up in the drag pits, if you are racing, pit with us! If 'fun' entry, come park with us, if you are spectating, come stop by and say "hi!"

Indy was cool but the cops were.....lets just say a bit unfriendly..chelsea was awsome at the proving grounds esp. the high bank test track runs. But the fun really got rolling at Brice in 87 I think..At Chelsea I had the blue car in my sig and was going about a hundred on the highbank when some superbirds just blew by me 140 150?????...what a riot. I'll have a different blue car this year..

Thanks Rob. To make the axles live longer... just mounted up a new set of 24.5" slicks. We'll see if that helps! *fingers crossed*

I remember reading the coverage of Indy in either 'High Performance Mopar' or 'Mopar Action' at the time. They also commented on the behaviour of the local police.

I remember attending Indy. Actually got a screaming deal on the Centerforce Clutch that is currently in my Scamp there! Forward Motion was clearing out all their N/A stuff, and I scored. Definitely not as nice as NTR. The year I went the swap meet was set up around the oval track at IRP. It was different...

I'll be way down in Bowling Green Beech Bend drag racing in the United Manual Transmission Racers series...only 4 hrs from my house on Saturday and Sunday i'll be at Indy. I'm 3 in pts in the UMTR and 4th at Indy.

We had an EXCELLENT turnout of our cars and a huge display of cars around the SDAC tent with Buckeye, Chicagoland, Great Lakes and Hoosier chapters represented. I was the ony FWD car in our crew to race, entered "stick" class and went out first round The good news is the car was able to drive itself on the trailer with the axles it arrived with! I did have some issues... I'll try to update the project thread with those...
