I think I'm currently using that one. I paid a bunch more for it at like Autostoned or O'Reilly's. Both connectors are black, kind of annoying when you plug it in. That's the part that leads me to believe it's the same one I'm using. I haven't had any issues with mine, but I do carry a spare in the glove box like usual.

I must be the only one who has owned TM's for 10 years and have never had a hall effect sensor fail on me.

For all the talk I had heard about the sensors failing, I've yet to have one fail, and my car defines Murphy's Law

I´ve had a few fail, but much like 135sohc I also have some with hundreds of thousands of miles on them. The key to keeping them alive is to prevent the wires from swinging about and breaking over time imo.

I replaced mine just for good measures and the new one quit on me in 3 months. Of course I had the original with me but the night before I stole the screwdriver out of the van a few days before lol.
Previous owner had 2 spares in the "junk drawer" but when I went to use them they were both dead, I'm guessing the handful of interior screws stuck to the magnets is what did them in.

Thanks for the offer Ron, but I bought 2 off ebay plus found 2 at pick-n-pull so I'm back up to 4 spares. I originally had 4 spares. Thought I had a lifetime supply. Used 1 in by brothers Daytona last year, then had my first one go out last week turned out 2 of my spares were no good. The only good one was the one I tested and kept in the glove compartment.

Pick-n-Pull is up to $15.99 each for them, the new ebay ones are cheaper. Just checking to see if anybody had bad luck with the cheap new ones.

I've got a lifetime warranty one from oreilly. Plus I have like 8 used spares that are good. I've had 2 fail on me. Both times have been the wiring on the the hep side breaking on the inside.

Your car just breaks everything else. The HEP is still waiting for its turn.
